Help your child spread anything on bread

I’m excited about this post. My son used to struggle to put butter on bread. More often than not, my butter tub used to look like someone tried to stab it to death.

But then inspiration hit me! What if the problem was all in the wrist!

Tools and equipment :

01) A SPOON!

Directions

This is so simple, that you don’t really need directions.  Use the back of a spoon for spreading instead of a knife! I mean look how pretty this is.

And here is the result. Masterfully done!

Now for the amazing part. Your child will not have to do this forever. Because the spoon naturally rolls as the child moves their hand back and forth, it builds up muscle memory. Almost instantly the concept will lock into your child and pretty soon they will be able to use a knife. My son was able to pick up a knife after only a few turns of the spoon and spread mayonnaise like a pro.

Give it a try and let me know how it works for you.

Until next time,
Hubby
