Directions to Eggs In A Nest

This is another easy one. J made it for us today. He has this one down pat.

Butter up some bread. Does your child have difficulties with butter? We’ve got you covered.

butter bread

Cut out holes in the bread. We have circle cutters, but you can use cups, jars, or anything to make a hole.

hole in the bread

Flip the bread over so the butter is facing down and place your pre-cooked bacon in an X pattern.

bacon nest

Crack your eggs over the bacon. Eggs are running pretty expensive right now, but this meal only uses one egg per person.

Add some salt and pepper, and put the eggs in the oven at 400 for 7 minutes.

eggs loaded

Pull the eggs out and sprinkle them with some cheese! We even put cheese on the little centerpieces. Who doesn’t like cheese?

partial cook

Cook for another minute or until your desired runniness is achieved!
