Easier Than Ever: Tasty & Quick Shish Kabobs for Busy People
Imagine coming home after a long day at work, your stomach growling and your energy levels plummeting. The thought of cooking an elaborate meal feels like climbing Everest in flip-flops. What if we told you that you could whip up a delicious, satisfying dinner in less time than it takes to stream an episode of your favorite show? Welcome to the world of quick and tasty, no skewer, shish kabobs – the ultimate culinary hack for busy people.
Equipment
- BBQ
Ingredients
- Bell Peppers
- Onions
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Italian Dressing
- Italian Sausage
Directions for Quick Shish Kabobs
Cut up the onions and throw them in a bag. Need help cutting up an onion? Check out our post on it. Just make the piece large and you will be ok.
Cut up a bell pepper. (We have you covered on this one too.) Add it to the bag with the onion.
Toss in some cherry tomatoes and add some Italian Dressing. Zip the bag and allow the whole thing to marinate in the fridge. We like to do it overnight.
Now most people will tell you to get out wooden skewers and start sliding on the veggies. Oh man is that time-consuming! We did it for a while until we got this perforated grill pan! Talk about easy!
BOOM! We are grilling. And what are we missing? Lots of labor and holes in our food. Flavor is still on point.
We grilled up some Italian Sausage (but forgot to take photos) to go with it.
We enjoy our shish kabobs over rice. Yummy!
By the way, did you know that shish kabobs translates to skewered meat? I don’t see any of that here… Ah well…
Until next time,
Hubby
