Directions to Cook Bagged Pasta in the Instant Pot
This is so simple that we are going to jump right into it.
Put the Instant Pot on saute and throw in the butter (as directed by the bag of pasta). Let it get melted before moving on to the next step.
We are making butter and herb, but you can make any bag pasta with this method.
Dump in the bag.
Add water to the pot.
The idea is just to cover the pasta with water.
Stir everything to help break up the clumps.
Cover and pressure cook. You want to half the cooking time written on the bag and round up. For example, 7 minutes halved is 3.5. Round that up and you are at 4 minutes.
When the time is up, do a controlled release. Your pasta will look very wet, but that is ok.
Give it a quick stir to help break it up.
