As A gets a little older, we’ve been slowly transitioning her room from the bright, character-themed décor of early childhood to something a bit more “big kid” — but still fun and cozy. I was able to get this adorable decorative pillow from Target’s HeyBullsEye program, and it’s been the perfect in-between piece.

The design is super cute and stylish, striking a nice balance between playful and polished. It adds just the right touch to A’s bed without feeling too grown-up or too babyish. The pillow is soft and fluffy—great for lounging or adding a cozy feel to the space.

The fabric does have a bit of texture, which she noticed right away (A’s very particular about that kind of thing!), but it hasn’t been a dealbreaker. Personally, I think the texture adds character. My only small critique? I wish it were just a little bigger. But overall, it’s been a lovely addition to her room and helped us bridge that gap between little girl and tween style.
