Equipment
- A sharp knife. (This post can help you get it sharp)
- A cutting board
Directions
First, we need to remove both sides of the bell pepper to get at its innards.
It doesn’t matter which side you start with, just pick one and cut it!
Cut one side and then cut the other.
Now for the ‘fun’ part. Take your knife and go around the edges. We want to detach the seed cluster from the outside edge.
Once everything is cut, we can simply pull out the seeds in one quick go.
Set the bell pepper down and make a cut to open up the ring.
Lay your knife flat and slide it along to remove all of the bumps which we missed when we removed the center.
Finally, you can start slicing the bell pepper into nice pieces.
And now you are a pro!
Use your bell pepper in a tasty dish. We had ours with some cabbage and sausage!
Until next time
