Directions for Cream of Wheat Oatmeal
We told you before that we enjoy eating oatmeal. Here is another unique hot breakfast ready to eat, even on busy mornings when we’re in a hurry.
Ensure you coat your slow cooker with oil to prevent the oatmeal from adhering.
Load in the steel cut oats. Don’t worry, I won’t judge this time if it isn’t steel cut oats.
(I lied! I’m totally judging if you don’t use steel cut oats. I never learn!)
Add in the water and let it cook. I use a smart plug since my little crock has no special functionality. It is off, low, or high.
Wake up to fully cooked oatmeal.
A splash of half-and-half for that creamy texture and some brown sugar for that sweet taste.
Give it a good stir and you’ve got yourself Cream of Wheat oatmeal!
Time to dig in!
Until next time,
Hubby
