- Kielbasa
- Black beans
Directions for Kielbasa Bowl
If you have salsa already on hand (we tend to), this one is so easy that it is scary. We wait longer for the rice to cook than we do for the main meal. Slice up the kielbasa into bite-size pieces.
Throw it into an oiled frying pan and lightly toast it. We want some flavor and color.
Rinse off a can of black beans and put them in with the Kielbasa. We are almost done!
Throw in your delicious salsa and mix it all up.
Let the whole thing simmer to get those flavors to marry and you are DONE! Walk away!
We enjoy ours over a bed of rice. You could put it in a bowl, but it looks so pretty on a plate!

Equipment
- 1 Frying pan
Ingredients
- 1½ Cups Salsa
- 1 Kielbasa
- 1 can Black Beans
Instructions
- Cut Kielbasa into bite-sized pieces and put them into a hot frying pan with oil.
- Cook the Kielbasa for a few minutes to caramalize.
- Drain and rinse the black beans before adding them to the frying pan.
- Add the salsa to the frying pan and allow everything to simmer.
- Serve over rice.
