Directions for Sandwich Buns
A couple of weeks ago, I told you how to check if your yeast was good. Today, we will be using that fresh yeast (mixed with milk and sugar) in our recipe.

Mix the flours together. The all-purpose one is the secret ingredient that helps this bread become less dense.

Yeast! Milk and sugar too!

Mix until everything looks combined.

Switch to the dough hook or knead for just a bit. Seriously, with the dough hook, it is about a minute. The dough will still be pretty sticky. Like it won’t wipe off of your fingers sticky. That is what you want.

Cover the dough and let it sit for 10 minutes, and prep your rolling area.

Get your dough into a nice ball, and roll it out. I use circle cutters to make my buns look nice. I used to just rip off some chunks and roll them into rough circles. Either way works.

Lay them onto a cookie sheet with parchment paper. I can get 6 on one sheet, and usually get about 12 buns per batch.

Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 35 minutes.

Bake them in the oven at 375°F for 10 minutes. Your baking time will definitely need some adjustments, depending on where you live.

Here are the end results. Sandwich Buns that are soft and fluffy!

Until next time,
Hubby
