Equipment
- Instant Pot
- Wooden Spoon
- Chefs Knife
Ingredients
- Beef
- Soy Sauce
- Water
- Corn Starch
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Oil
Directions for Mongolian Beef
Our first step is to cut up the beef into bite size pieces.
Once you have a nice plate of cut up beef, it is time to start cooking.
Set the Instant pot to Sauté and pour in some oil, and once it is hot put in the garlic. Lubby loves the smell of garlic in the air and is always taking deep breaths at this part. But don’t stand around sniffing, make sure you stir the garlic, so it doesn’t burn!
Throw the meat in to get a bit of a cook on it.
Add in the soy sauce and all of the ingredients. Close up the Instant Pot and let it cook!
When it is done, do a quick release. You should have something that looks like this.
Put together your thickener.
Add it to the Instant Pot to make the liquid stick to everything!
And there you have Mongolian Beef!
It tastes delicious over white rice.
We had ours, of course, with broccoli!
Until next time,
Hubby
