Mongolian Beef

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tsp Oil
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Garlic chopped
  • ½ tsp Ginger minced
  • ½ cup Soy Sauce
  • ¾ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 lb Flank Steak

Thickener

  • ¼ cup Cornstarch
  • ¼ cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Cut meat into bite size pieces.
  • Set Instant Pot to Saute with oil.
  • Cook the garlic until it starts to get golden.
  • Add in meat and cook until slightly brown.
  • Add in water, soy sauce, ginger, and brown sugar.
  • Stir and close the lid.
  • Set the Instant Pot to pressure cook for 12 minutes.
  • When cooking is complete, perform a Quick Release.
  • Mix the thickener together and add it to the Instant Pot.
  • Stir to combine and serve!
